Afghanistan and Turkiye emphasized strengthening economic cooperation, increasing bilateral trade, and enhancing regional connectivity on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi met Turkiye’s Trade Minister Omer Bolat, and both sides discussed expanding economic engagement based on mutual interests.
The talks focused on boosting trade volume, attracting investment and cooperation in key sectors including mining, infrastructure and transport. Both sides also highlighted the importance of regional connectivity and transit opportunities.
They expressed hope that bilateral economic cooperation would enter a new phase in the near future.
