A football tournament featuring under-14 teams from five provinces has begun in Logar. The competition is organized by the football federation in cooperation with local sports authorities.
Teams from Laghman, Paktia, Maidan Wardak, Khost, and host Logar are participating. In the opening match, Paktia defeated Laghman 2–1 to advance to the next round.
Officials said the tournament aims to develop young talent, promote sports culture, and strengthen unity among youth athletes.
