Road Lighting and Irrigation Project Completed in Pul-e-Khumri

A road lighting and irrigation project along the Bagh-e-Qahwakhana road in Pul-e-Khumri, the capital of Baghlan Province, has been completed and officially inaugurated at a cost of AFN 2.5 million.

Qari Naqibullah Mohammadi, Mayor of Pul-e-Khumri, said the project included the installation of dozens of streetlights, the construction of an irrigation system for roadside landscaping, and the expansion of green spaces.

He stated that the project was financed through the Pul-e-Khumri Municipality's budget and was implemented to improve the city's appearance, enhance street lighting, and strengthen public safety.
Officials noted that Bagh-e-Qahwakhana road is one of the city's busiest routes, and the project is expected to improve urban services and provide greater convenience for residents.
