The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced a new round of senior government appointments following a decree issued by the Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, according to spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid.
Under the decree, Mohammad Ismail Rasikh has been appointed Governor of Jawzjan, Abdul Karim Nafiz as the province's Police Chief, and Abdullah Sarhadi as Deputy Commander of the 217 Omari Corps.
Additional appointments include Abdul Rahman Tayebi as Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts at the Ministry of Information and Culture, Abdul Rahman Ghaznawi as President of Kandahar University, and Atiqullah Azizi as Director of Information and Culture in Herat.
